We recently took a vacation to Missouri to float the Current River. We stayed in a cabin off the beaten path called Hidden Haven.
With all the technology of today, cell phones, televisions, computers and fast paced life this was a piece of what God intended life to be like.
It's truly relaxing to be in a place like a country home or cabin. It gives you time to slow down and really enjoy the finer things of life like nature and each other.
I welcome you to share your country living stories with us. Send us your country pictures if you wish.
Thanks for visiting. I hope to hear from you soon,

Hi! Yep, we home home our kids too. This will be our 16th year! How many kids do you have? We have 10 so far. Yes, boys are different to school than girls. Two things I have found to be true...boys are not ready at an early an age as girls are to "do school work", and boys hate to write! I am finding that narration is the way to go with our boys and I read to them aloud, and then they narrate back to me while I wrote what they say. It is working wonderfully! Yes, they do copywork as well, but in very small increments. And yes, we LOVE being in the country! I wouldn't trade it for the world!! If you look at "older posts" on my blog when you have a chance, it will share some of our experiences on our farm.
God Bless!! Write any time!
Kelly
